What is The Pig at Harlyn Bay known for?
The Pig at Harlyn Bay is known for a number of things, Robin one of the co-founders of The Pig hotels wanted to de-formalise the country house hotel by making them welcoming, friendly spaces where you can feel right at home.
The decor is a mis-match of upcycled pieces, that once when placed together create a cohesive ensemble of upcycled and new pieces that give the place a cosy atmosphere.
Old pieces have found a new purpose, from milk churns now used as umbrella stands, apple crates used for coffee tables and chicken feeders used for plant pot holders.
Nature is at the heart of what they do, the spaces draw the outside in and the fresh produce from the Kitchen Garden is used on the menu with many foods infused, smoked all in house.
